Eurasia on a motorbike - Barcelona Kathmandu

On this motorcycle trip from Europe to Asia, you'll have the chance to admire the finest mosques in Iran and Pakistan, explore Hindu palaces and temples, and marvel at the ancient ruins of Roman, Greek, and Persian civilizations. You will embark on a journey of religions as you move from Italian Christianity to the various interpretations of Islam in Turkey, Iran and Pakistan, then immerse yourself in the intriguing Hinduism of India, ending with the serene worldview of Nepali Buddhism.

We will travel through landscapes and mountain roads that will take us from the Balkans of Albania and Montenegro to the highest mountains in the world, the majestic Himalayas in Nepal. We will cross the vast desert of Iran to enter the lush vegetation of the tropical forests of the Terrai of Nepal. We will bathe in the warm turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea while we tour the beautiful Dalmatian and Aegean coast.

You'll have the chance to encounter sacred cows, elephants and rhinos in Nepal and India, and look for tigers that may never be seen.

Days 1-3: Barcelona - Italy. The trip begins in Barcelona and we embark on an exciting motorcycle trip. Our first stop after Italy takes us through Croatia's spectacular coastline, with winding roads offering panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea. Along the way, we stop in historic Dubrovnik, exploring its ancient walls and cobblestone streets.


Day 3 to 9: Croatia - Montenegro - Albania - Macedonia - Greece. We continue along the Croatian coast and cross to Montenegro, where we were captivated by the majestic Bay of Kotor, a fjord surrounded by imposing mountains appreciating the stunning views and atmosphere lovely Montenegro.

We leave Croatia and the coast behind and begin to cross the Balkans through Montenegro and Albania. Winding roads take us through rugged mountains and green valleys, providing opportunities to enjoy untouched nature and local cultures. We also visited the Meteora monasteries in Greece, with its monasteries built on top of rock pillars, a unique experience. We pause in Athens, Greece, where we take part in guided tours to explore the city's rich history, from the Acropolis to the charming historic neighborhoods. We also enjoyed the delicious Greek food and hospitality. We took the ferry in the evening to the Greek islands and disembarked on the coast of Turkey in the morning.


Day 9-18: Turkey. We continue our journey east visiting the Roman ruins of Ephesus and arrive at Fethiye, a beautiful coastal city. Here, we take the opportunity to relax on the beach and explore the Turkish coast. The next stop takes us to Cappadocia, famous for its underground cities and impressive rock formations. We explore the underground labyrinths and fly in hot air balloons over the lunar landscapes of Cappadocia. We continue through the Anatolian plateau to reach the border with Iran.


Day 19-27: Iran. We enter Iran to visit the cities, among others, of Tehran, Isfahan, Persepolis and the citadel of Bam. We cross the Kalut Desert to reach the eastern border with Pakistan.


Day 28-35: Pakistan. We continue through Pakistan, arriving in Quetta, where we experience the local culture and explore the city. Pakistani hospitality and rich cultural heritage are highlights of this leg of the trip. Visit of Lahore and its impressive mosque. We will attend the famous ceremony of closing the border with India in Wagah.


Day 36-39: India. Our next stop takes us to Amritsar, India, where we visit the iconic Golden Temple and participate in religious ceremonies. It is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the spirituality of India. In the following days we reached the foothills of the Himalayas to cross the border with Nepal from Banbasa.


Day 40-45: Nepal. From the border we arrive at the animal reserve in Bardia. Rest day enjoying the jeep safari within the park. This stage allows us to connect with nature and experience the beauty of Nepalese fauna. We travel through Nepal, visiting the charming city of Pokhara, famous for its natural beauty and as a starting point for adventures in the Himalayas. Here, we can enjoy a relaxing day by Phewa Lake and explore the local culture.

We continue our journey towards Kathmandu, but before arriving, we pass by the impressive Kushma suspension bridges, which offer exciting views of the mountainous landscape of Nepal.

Finally, we arrive in Kathmandu, where our exciting motorcycle trip concludes. Here, we enjoy the guided tour of the city, exploring the historical monuments and vibrant street life. Kathmandu is a melting pot of cultures and a perfect way to end this adventure.

The price of the trip is understood to be with your own motorcycle.
It is possible to make the trip with a rental motorcycle (HondaCB500x or Benelli TRK 500 model). Consult us for modalities.
Companions may come who wish to make the trip as a passenger behind your motorcycle.

Possibility of sharing the trip with the same motorcycle with two riders:
Example: The first rider makes the first half of the trip to Iran and the second rider continues with the same motorcycle until the end. In that case, the names of the two riders must be registered on the motorcycle's Passage Card.

Wagon conditions

Approximate distance of 12,000 km. Almost the entire route is on a paved road. In some sections of the Pakistani Balochistan region we may find some sand or track alternating with roads in poor condition.
